1. 집에서 겪은 경험

■ 집에서 겪는 어려움 (배터리 방전 에피소드)

Electronic door is very convenient but sometimes it causes a problem.

전자도어(비밀번호로 문여는 시스템)은 편리하지만, 종종 문제를 일으키지.

One day, electronic door battery ran out of power.

전자도어 배터리가 나간거야.

I can’t open the door.

난 문을 열 수가 없었지.

So I should buy battery but I didn’t have any money.

그래서 배터리를 사러가야 하는데 돈도 없는거야.

Just then, my neighbor who lives in the next door helped me.

바로 그때, 옆집에 살고 있는 이웃이 저를 도와줬어.

I could open the door and got into home.

그래서 나는 문을 열수 있었고 집에 들어갈 수 있었지.

She provided some snacks and tea. After this, we become closure.

그녀는 간식과 차를 내줬어. 그리고 우린 친구가 될 수 있었지.

2. 공원에서 겪은 경험

■ 공원에서의 경험/자전거타기/여행하기(국내여행) (자전거 에피소드)

The last time I went to Central Park, I went alone on my bicycle.

지난번에 내가 센트럴 파크에 갔을 때, 나는 혼자 자전거를 타고 갔어.

It was early evening and I had some time to kill.

이른 저녁이었고, 나는 시간을 보내러 갔지.

There were not too many people there as it was a weekday

so I just cycled around slowly and enjoyed the peaceful surroundings.

주중에 거기엔 사람들이 별로 없어서 나는 천천히 자전거를 타고 평화로운 환경을 즐겼지.

After cycling for a while, I sat down on the grass and spent some time reading a book.

잠시 자전거를 탄 후에, 나는 풀밭위에 앉아서 책을 읽으며 시간을 보냈어.

I enjoyed myself being alone there.

거기서 혼자 있는 시간을 즐겼지.

I really love to get away from everything now and then and I find the park.

나는 종종 모든 것들과 떨어져 있는 게 좋아. 그래서 그 공원을 찾지.

■ 공원에서의 사건-여행 사건, 특별한 사건, 해외여행 (번지점프 에피소드)

A few years ago, my friends and I were at a park on a Sunday afternoon.

몇 년 전에, 내 친구들이랑 나는 일요일 오후에 공원에 갔었어.

It was our first time there and we just went for something different to do.

거긴 처음이었고, 우린 좀 색다른걸 하고 싶었지.

We lay about for most of the day on the grass eating ice-cream and chatting.

우린 대부분의 시간을 풀 밭 위에 누워서 아이스크림을 먹고 얘기하며 보냈어.

After a while, some of us decided to go for a walk to see if there's anything else in the park.

얼마 후에, 우리 중 몇 명이 공원에 다른게 뭐가 있는지 걷기로 했어.

To our amazement, we found a bungee-jump.

놀랍게도 우린 번지점프를 발견했지.

None of us had ever done a bungee-jump but I was eager to try it.

아무도 번지점프를 해본 적 없지만, 나는 그게 너무 해보고 싶었어.

We raced over and bought our tickets.

우린 뛰어가서 티켓을 샀어.

Two of my friends were too afraid to jump but two other friends and I jumped.

내 친구 두명은 너무 무서워서 못한다고 했지만, 다른 두 친구와 나는 번지점프를 하겠다고 했어.

It was a great experience and I can’t wait to do my next bungee-jump.

그건 정말 엄청난 경험이었고, 다음에 또하고 싶어.

A few years ago, my friends and I went to a park in our neighborhood.

몇 년 전에 나와 내 친구들은 집 근처에 있는 공원에 갔어.

We lay about for most of the day on the grass eating ice-cream and chatting.

In the afternoon, some people began to build some structures.
